Cookie-Cutters and Homemades, From the Heart

Cookie-cutters, shaping dough in the same sad way all over again, pretending to hate things that they once loved. They forget the memories, and try their hardest not to make some. Anything mainstream goes, that is until it had it's fifteen minutes. Cookie cutters, just wasting away their same, sad lives, wanting to be normal, wanting to have the same old routine every single day. They complain and argue about their life instead of living it, think nothing, yet everything, of others, and act, so they can win everyone over with their fake, little smiles.

Hands on, hands shaped cookies, loving themselves for a simple thing- just being who they are, listening to the kind of music the cookie-cutters doesn't like. They drink from half-full cups, and will always have their friend's back, no matter if she is a blondie cheerleader or a slightly nerdy nut cookie. Handmade cookies sample the world, and find joy in what they love, no matter what.
So, honestly, which sounds better- a sloppy, imperfect homemade cookie, or a flawless cookie-cutter? If you picked the last, think again.

The First of Spring.

As the world turns, the first of Spring starts like clean pages turning in a book, waiting for a pencil's lead to press down on their blank canvas, carving it's new beginning. It's all the same as a somewhat different time ago; the currently scribbled on flipped past sheets were once blank, without the chaos and darkness that sat on it now. These new pages promised to be better, though, and there was no reason on earth not to believe them, besides the simple fact that in the past, the others, now ruined, had promised, too. That was gone and through, now, and this very moment would be past soon enough. What would this time bring?

As dew drops form on freshly cut grass, the sun comes around to welcome the new season. The people wonder, "How would this turn out?" Only time will tell, if this first of spring will follow the fate of the last, or if it will try to breakaway from the pattern.

{A Writer's Spoiler Alerts}

Hey everyone, it's Abby. I'm here with an semi-important update for you. Warning, if you rather not be robbed of the joy of having my upcoming series throughout the year be a surprise, than I suggest you don't read on from this point.

Right now I have an upcoming story that will be put shortly in the works. It may be in one or two parts, depending on how long it turns out. For a few clues on theme? Only a true friend would know. ;)

After that, I have an exciting non-fiction comedy series, that I can't wait for. They will be posted whenever I want, but I'm almost done with the first. #Just-don't-be-jammin'-to-that-Nicki-Minaj-or-Justin-Beaver, K?

I'm delevoping the plot for another fiction story that I'm sure everyone will love. Be sure to bring your crowns, and don't expect a fourth-grade level story at that. :P

There's a short story in the works that will sure to add revenge to my blog. It won't be out for a while, though.

I'm also thinking of developing a series I wrote last summer into blog posts for the summer. I really love the storyline and cast of characters in it, but I need to find a way to fit everything in. It's long. :P

Thanks for reading!

T a g . . .

You're it.

I never actually got tagged from anyone, but hey, I just started this blog. So I tagged myself.
Soon you will find that I love tags. Regular tags, tags with themes...I think it's just such a fun way to introduce yourself online, which makes it a great theme for a second post.
If you want to try a tag, go for it. I'm not going to tag any certain people.

Here we go.

1. I'm double jointed, but I can't do gymnastics to save my life.
2. Taylor Swift is and has always been my favorite singer. My favorite song of her's is "You Belong with Me", with "Fifteen", "Our Song", and "Love Story" coming close.
3. From the last answer, can you guess what my favorite Taylor Swift album is? ;)
4. Ever since my Hawaiian themed fifth birthday, I have wanted to visit Hawaii.
5. In real life, I'm sort of shy.
6. I have always loved writing, since second grade when we started writing "real" stories.
7. The first series I ever wrote was for a second grade graduation project. It was about a back lab puppy and his friend, the persian cat.
8. I'm a lot more comfortable in a fancy dress than wearing sweats. I'm a girly-girl.
9. I hate the months of March and February. You expect it to be warm, but it never is.
10. Online, I tend to overuse the smilies xD, :D, and :). I had to stop myself from putting them in my other answers.

Why?

A lot of you might be wondering "Why?" Why did you close your other blogs? Why did you make this one? Why are you so awesome? (I get this one a lot. :P Just kidding.)  Well, thankfully I'm here to stop the wondering.

Why did you close Singing in the Rain and Amazing Dolls, Abby?

Though I still collect them, I don't like blogging about dolls. Amazing Dolls was closed way back in September because I barely had anything to post about. Remember all of those daily games I did on there? Yeah, you know what I'm talking about.

Singing in the Rain was mainly a test blog. Even though it was a huge success (thank you for making it that way) I decided to slightly change Sophia's story, so she never went to Autumn Maple in the first place. Add in how I never had time to make a post (hence her posting about every two months) and the known fact stated above that I just cannot do doll blogs, it was closed last month.

Why did you make a new blog, Abby?

Because I could. I wanted a writing blog anyway.

Why did you change your blogger profile and your name to be like +h!$, Abby?

Because I could. I wanted to stand out anyway, and my profile described the "old" me, if you know what I mean.

Why "Miles"?

I don't know. Half of the theme "miles" was based off one of my favorite songs lately (see if you can guess), and I also had an awesome map-thingy background idea in the back of my head.(Thanks Mandy for making it real! :D) I wanted this blog to be a writing blog, but I also wanted to make it about my life with journal entries and such. Writing through the miles seemed right, because sometimes the Internet amazes me of how I can almost directly talk to someone who lives across the country, and have them reply within seconds. Who would think of a thing? Because of the Internet, I can share my writing with the world.

So there you go, people of the Internet. Your wonderings are vanished, thanks to me.
